The Curiosity Hour Podcast
I’m Dan. I’m a son to an amazing mother and father, brother to four incredible siblings, and blessed uncle because my two nieces and five nephews are brilliant, talented, and thoughtful. I have an amazing circle of close friends who are like a second family to me. Travel is my bliss. I’ve lived internationally and throughout the US. I’m a digital nomad. I enjoy creativity and collaboration. I love to read, think, and learn about the stories of other people. I’m incredibly fortunate to have Tommy as a friend and co-host of The Curiosity Hour Podcast. Every episode I feel honored for how our guests show up so authentically, vulnerably, and present to share their stories with our listeners and us. Everyone has a story to tell and hopefully The Curiosity Hour Podcast encourages people to find out the stories of their family members, relatives, colleagues, neighbors, and members of their communities. Stay curious!
In my spare time I read. I love nonfiction and history as well as biographies, with the occasional Steinbeck or Christopher Moore book thrown in for good measure. (I once took a road trip inspired by one of my all-time favorites, “Blue Highways” by William Least Heat-Moon, that changed my life.) I’m a huge music fan as well, and love the way that music can be linked to memory and experience. (I can tell you what book I was reading and what CD or tape was in my stereo for most major life events.)
I’m excited to see how this podcast, The Curiosity Hour, will grow and change, and I’m grateful for the community that’s already built up around it. My co-host and friend, Dan, is the perfect partner in this endeavor, and it’s been a real privilege to shape this experience together. I hope that this show edifies and encourages you and that–in your own way–you can seek out ways to share your own story, and to learn about the stories of those around you. And remember, Stay Curious.
